Yes, you can use several other ways to stiffen the top flange of the crane runway.
The software allows you to study solutions with or without angles only.

These forces do not include dynamic effects. The dynamic factors are given in section C1 of the results.
This solution should be seen as troubleshooting in the pre-study phase when no more precise information is available. It will be essential to rely on the manufacturer's data sheet (loads and dynamic factors) during the execution phase.
